Chris Hughes asked me if he could borrow my pen. I handed him my bic and he took the cap off and cleaned his ears with it. He wasn't trying to be mean or anything, he just wanted something to clean his ears with.
I explain stuff like that to my 11-year-old daughter by pointing out that boys are just gross! She agrees. (By the way, Bics are the best for picking earwax!)
